Q Investments Ltd. announces that it will not be pursuing a banking licence in Barbados and has changed the interest rate on the Gemini loan agreementQ Investments Ltd. (the “Company”) (QI: TSX-V) previously announced on June 28, 2003 and November 12, 2003 its intention to apply for a banking licence through a newly incorporated Barbados subsidiary. Due to proposed regulatory changes, the Company will not be pursuing a banking licence in Barbados. The Company would also like to announce that the outstanding loan agreement dated December 28, 2001 existing between Q Investments Ltd. and Gemini Energy Corp. has been amended to reduce the interest rate from of 15% to 11% effective January 1, 2004.
